Meet Our Orthodontists
Dr. Brent E. Sexton
Delta Smiles has two orthodontists, and both of them see patients at both offices. You’ll know who’s treating you, and you’ll see the same face at your adjustment appointments.
Dr. Sexton owns Delta Smiles and treats patients at both offices. He bought the practice from the orthodontist who founded it. He trained at Indiana University, earning his dental degree, orthodontic certificate, and master’s in dentistry after a bachelor’s from Ball State and a master’s from Purdue.
He decided on orthodontics at 12, while wearing braces himself, growing up in a small farming town outside Indianapolis. He now lives in the East Bay with his wife and two daughters.
Meet Dr. Tiffany Louie
Dr. Louie grew up in Hayward, studied at UCLA, and returned to the Bay Area for her dental and orthodontic training at UCSF, where she earned her dental degree, her orthodontic certificate and a master’s in orofacial sciences. She was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society.
She has three children and bakes decorated sugar cookies, seriously and well.
Both Doctors, Both Offices
Treatment planning here is a two-doctor conversation on difficult cases, which is one of the practical advantages of a practice this size. Neither doctor works in isolation, and a second opinion on a complex case is always available.
The practice holds memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
